Leaving traces

A less than successful attempt at printing from a bundle of leaves and flowers yielded unexpectedly delicate results; sometimes the unintended outcomes are the best.

Plus some varied marks and textures to explore.  I love the gentle effects of these marks; the final one looks a bit vague but I’ve held it up to the light.  Backlighting would be  interesting to try with these.  The half-leaf embedded in the calico is my favourite.  Next, stitch.
